It all started with a very painful experience…
The cruel reality of an unexpected sudden departure, total disbelief, and a big question:
“Death, who are you?"
O monstrous abyss that swallows our loved ones, you gather them together and take them away like unripe fruits.
You remain for us an unfathomable mystery; why did it happen now? Why did it happen to me?
But, by the grace of God, we dared to surrender in the most beautiful way, saying with Jesus, to the Father, on the Mount of Olives: ” Let your will be done”.
By the grace of God, our agony was turned into spiritual awareness that found its best expression in the Arabic name we chose for our “Community”,
“Ouzkourni Fi Malakoutika”,
“Remember Me in Your Kingdom”.
At the beginning it was agony and now the agony has generated a “Community”.
